Brazil were beaten 1- 0 with Cameroon as Switzerland beat Serbia to claim a spot in the knockout stages
In the Cameroon Vs Brazil game, Brazil came into the game only needing a draw to top the group and could even afford to lose and still top the group going into the knockout stages as long as Switzerland failed to beat Serbia.
The game begun with not many expecting an upset, as Brazil has world-renowned stars and with Brazil having already qualified for the knockout stages of the tournament. On the other hand, Cameroon had put in a valiant effort against Serbia coming from 3-1 down to tie the game at 3-3.
The draw meant that if Switzerland beat Serbia then Cameroon were out of the Knockout stages.
Brazil were also expected to rotate their lineup which meant that strikers like Neymar with injuries would not be playing.
Brazil came into the World Cup as one of the teams with great squad depth and they were the only team in their group who managed not to concede shorts on target with zero shorts on target against Serbia and Switzerland and winning both games to nil.
The Brazilians have in the pervious two games created zero big chances but still managed to squeeze in goals.
First Half’s in the previous two games have seen shots on target but no goals. The second half however is when Brazil have scored the goals meaning that they have studied their opponents and made the adjustments in the second half to break them down.
In Switzerland’s game they had few opportunities but capitalizes on them showing how clinical they can be.

Cameroon put the ball at the back of the net in the 92nd minute through Vincent Aboubakar who while celebration the goal removed his T-Shirt and forced the referee to giving him the second yellow card and sent him off.
The game finished 1-0 with Cameroon taking the shock win but this wasn’t good enough to take them through.
